Re: LL Remix xp10
Last year for Christmas, we purchased three LL Remix XP 9s. My daughter and I took whitewater class on Turner Bend this month, and we both absolutely adore them. (My son was too young. ) I'm kind of wishing that we would have gotten the kid's size for Noah, but he seems to handle the 9 pretty well. ...

Whitewater School Appreciation
Many thanks to all of you who put in countless hours of preparation toward whitewater school this year. This was my first year to attend this event, and it was everything (and more) that I could have wanted. My instructors (Liz, Frank, and Victor) were outstanding in their knowledge, dedication, and...

Re: Need some wetsuit advice from gals
Too funny, Cowper!! I originally posted this toward females because I thought the discussion might be gender-specific. Apparently not. It all sounds like very valuable advice, and a drysuit definitely sounds like the most efficient. However, every purchase I make has to be multiplied by three...

Need some wetsuit advice from gals
When we bought our kayaks for Christmas, my intentions were to wait for warmer weather to paddle. However, I simply can't wait!!! I have been looking at wetsuits online, and the options are completely overwhelming. There are short ones, full-length ones, two-piece ones, different thicknesses, differ...

UALR pool sessions??
After renting kayaks for two years, we (myself and two kids) have just bought Liquid Logic Remix XP9s from OOO as our Christmas gifts. Don suggested the UALR pool sessions as a great place to start learning some paddling skills and eventually how to roll. Can anyone give me the information I need to...

Malone microsport trailer, know anything??
Well, it's decided. I am going to get a trailer for our three upcoming Christmas-gift kayaks. I am looking at a Malone microsport trailer that will hold four boats. That way, I will have a spare slot for someone to join or if my husband ever decides to try this great sport. It's designed for carryin...

Re: IT'S OFFICIAL
Perfect. This sounds exactly like what I need. I have a 13 year old and an 8 year old. Are there age restrictions? I see that many classes exclude the younger kids, and they problably need it most. (Though I do understand the liability and the immaturity...soooooo immature )

car rack or trailer??
Looks like there are going to be some kayaks under the Christmas tree this year. Jeremy, we will see you real soon at OOO. However, we have been debating an issue for some time that needs resolving. We will be toting three kayaks to our destinations. It's myself (a 5''4" female), my teenage dau...

Remix or Fusion??
Hey, I am fairly new to the sport of kayaking. I have mostly kayaked flatwater at Arkansas' state parks. However, after cruising the Buffalo River, I have found that I really prefer moving water. I am 43 years old, 5'4" and weigh 140 pounds. I intend to purchase a kayak in the near future. Howe...
