The Buffalo at Ponca is very floatable. Anyone interested in paddling canoe or kayak from Ponca to Steele or Kyle's tomorrow Saturday 2/17/17? If so, text or phone me at 479-3 six six- six 3 7 nine. Or email hwgresham@gmail.com. Nothing planned yet, just hoping.

Re: Any info on Jones Center pool sessions in 2017?

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if this msg board is now completely dead. I for one have no interest in Facebook. It is a reprehensible company with no ethics. Just look at what they did yesterday: permitted the live feed of the torture of a disabled man in Chicago by a gang of thugs for over 30 min...

Any info on Jones Center pool sessions in 2017?

I missed the last meeting, and haven't seen any info on NW Chapter pool sessions at the Jones Center for 2017. Did I miss something?

Mulberry on Monday?

This is the weekend of WW School. Wondering if any folks are staying over to paddle the Mulberry on Monday? If so, I'd like to join up, assuming water holds.

Having 2nd thoughts about that run. That looks to be about 20 miles total. Maybe something shorter?

If the Mulberry trip comes together, I'd be interested. Cadron is a bit of a haul for me.

Re: Anyone heading for more moderate rivers?

Sorry no trip materialized from my original post. A few expressed interest, but nothing came together. For the future, since I'm retired, I can most often go on a float if I can get about 24 hours notice. Right now my limit is Class II up to some Class III. Some of the popular rivers like Buffalo &a...

Re: Anyone heading for more moderate rivers?

Nothing coming together so far. Probably won't post on this thread anymore. Everybody just see what you can hook up with on your own. As I write this, lots of rivers are TOO high, but hope tomorrow is still good.

Anyone heading for more moderate rivers?

I'm keeping an eye on the board. Just wondering if anyone is heading for Buffalo (Ponca), Mulberry, Piney, or similar on Wednesday or Thursday? If so, I'd like to tag along if water holds and doesn't get too high. PM or post or email hwgresham@gmail.com or 479-366-6379. Thanks.

Re: Ford [Siloam Springs Kayak Park] Action - Rescue Trainin

Agree, excellent use, and we're all lucky to have the WW park. But I have a question. Arkansas just announced that about 19 or so swimming areas are now closed due to E.Coli contamination. Included are Lake Weddington, Leatherwood and many others. Anyone know if the Illinois at the park gets tested,...

Sad to say I've lost my free day Wednesday. Looks like my kayak must stay in drydock .
