Re: Wattensaw lantern post setting trip.

I believe Cowper has the john boat aspect well covered. I just need to work out a date. The 22nd, 23rd, 6th and 7th all work for me. Another idea that has been tossed around is to camp overnight out there, those who wanted to could probably paddle out the same day as well. All we need is a warm-ish ...

Wattensaw lantern post setting trip.

I welded up a lantern post this week for the campsite on Wattensaw that Debbie and Mikki have put so much work into. It is ready to be set in concrete. Sunday? Have to see if Cowper will be back yet and if Debo is available. Shout out if you can make it.

A gift for the ACC.

Last week I mentioned to my boss my plans to buy the materials for and build a lamp post for the Wattensaw Bayou campsite that Debbie and Mikki have already put so much work into. He was so supportive that he donated the materials and welding supplies for me to make it. So what I ended up making is ...

I'm really tempted. Will see how I feel about loading the boat in the morning :poke:
Anyone else from LR thinking about heading that way?

Re: Kids birthday party/paddle

The perfect option in my opinion would be the Little Maumelle at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. There is a nice, calm large pool with a boat ramp that is also right next to a few picnic tables. The water is surrounded by cypress and hardwoods and there's plenty of room to stretch your paddling muscle...

UPS brought me the new helmet about half an hour ago.
I have to say I'm impressed by NRS's customer service.

Crash Signorelli had a Dancer that she quickly outgrew. You might get ahold of Bryan or Aly Signorelli to see if they still have it. Bryan goes by Sig on the board.
