Re: Mulberry advice please

Milton's is a public crossing but is a kinda rough road in.
A vehicle with clearance is necessary.
There is a parking area on River Right, downstream of the crossing.

Re: Mulberry advice please

It is passable, and actually the fishing should be better as the water clarity is improved. That float is about 11 miles, at a 'fishing' rate of travel you are looking at about 12 hr. float. Look at putting in at Big Eddy and going to Campbell's. That would be about half as long and miss a couple po...

Re: Buffalo River Rush to Shipps

We have a regular crowd that floats that section almost every year around Columbus day. It is a fantastic float that is different from any other section as with no public accesses there is no day floaters. This has been a wet summer so expect good water, however that low on the river it is always po...

Australian Racing Canoe

Here is a unique boat. This is an Australian hand made racing boat. Made by Peter Witt in New South Wales, Australia. It is a fiberglass and wood construction with built in flotation chambers. This boat is not recommended for the creeks and streams here in Arkansas. The fiberglass won't hold up well...

There is a proposed plan with an open session for comment until Aug 22. Here is a link to the plans and the con...

Re: How well does Royalex age?

The key is storage. UV damage is what your fighting. If it has been stored inside a garage or barn, it is probably good to go. If you get it, clean it with mild soap and water. Put it on a set of saw horses and give it a good dose of 303 every day for 2-3 days. Go through it and tighten any loose sc...

Re: Buffalo River - Rush to White River

I float that stretch often, I have taken out at Buffalo Point only once. Don't bother.
Just buy your trout stamp, and fish your way down to Shipps' Ferry. Nice float.

Re: PIE and WW School

The fact that they ran out shows what a great fit they are for the event.
Abby and the others were there to set up before me!
Glad it went well.
