Pruitt to Mt. Hersey
Hi all, Does anyone have a preferred shuttle rt for this run? I see LOTS of highway, and LOTS of dirt. I'd love to hear opinions on what a guy should consider. I know this shuttle is gonna be a long one either way, but I have to knock out this section of river and it looks like it's gonna be an awes...

Canoeing the little red
Hi all, So I've never been on the Little Red and want to go Saturday. I'm wanting some input about what to expect from a canoeing perspective. I'm thinking of putting in at the dam site and floating to Lobo. I figure once the water comes up it will move pretty quick. Probably going to get there mid-...

I'm also curious about the upper Ouachita. the Forest Service has this map posted. https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DO ... 288894.pdf
I assume the closest gauge is maybe at mt ida? Anyone know a relative range for safe floating? Thanks in advance!

Water trails
Hi all, I've never done any of the water trails here in the state and am interested in taking the wife somewhere this weekend. Is there one in particular that is a must see? Bayou Bartholomew looks interesting. Is there a section that's better than others? What is everyone's experience? thanks in ad...

Hi all,
ISO 2 rec kayaks suitable for some lake paddling and maybe some lower buffalo. Would like something sit in, not sit on top. Thx!

canoe seats - what's better
Hey all,
I have an OT tripper with the standard flat plastic bench seats. I'm wanting something more comfortable...should I go with something like the sitbacker or should I replace them with some sort of webbing-based seat?
what do ya'll think?

Re: trolling motor on my tripper
Perfect guys, this is exactly what I'm looking for. I too am not thrilled about the registration thing...but I like to take my dad with me and he's getting a little set in his ways about paddlin' vs beer drinking. Apparently he's taken to the later and prefers to leave me with the former. Which I'm ...

trolling motor on my tripper
Hey all, I'm wanting to put a trolling motor on my OT tripper for some fishing trips this spring down the bottom of the Buffalo. I've pretty much decided on a little Minncota trolling motor, but am curious what folks are doing for batteries. Do I need a Marine gel battery? Some sort of spill proof b...
