The set-up is attached to the floor at both end which slip into openings made into the canoe at the factory. The middle is held down with a bow tie looking deal that slips btw. two slats and turns to lock the floor in place.

I have an 18' Grumman that is about 70 to 80 yrs. old and it has a wooden-slat removable floor that I would like to replace. It keeps my gear from laying in water that gets in the bottom of the canoe. There are 6 slats about 14' long and 1 1/4" wide ea. What do they call it? Are they still for ...
