Paddled from Helton's to Twin Bridges yesterday, level 6.5'. Had a blast. Turned out to be a warm sunny day. Everything's clear, at that level anyway. The tree at the entrance to Roller Coaster is gone and so is the tree on the mother. Surfing Rapid was huge, had to really bust it through there.

There is a tree on the Mother with a limb extending down and into the creek. Last report is it's blocking the river-left run. Don't think I've seen the leaf colors this awesome, the road to Treat is knocked out (as in gorgeous, beautiful, breath-taking, etc). Be careful out there and....Go Hogs!

Just drove up to Long Pool and checked the gauge...6'.

7' & dropping at noon.

Piney is running 9' at Long Pool, muddy, looks like it's crested.

Headin up to LP to check the gauge, but the creek's up big...guessing 7' or better and still rising down here. Big rain last night. Be careful out there.
