That's a lot of river to check, could you drop a pin on a map where you lost it? It would greatly help in locating it.

Could you provide more specifics to where you had to leave it? It would help to know where it is so as much time as possible can be spent on the recovery as opposed to searching for it since that's 8 miles of river to search.

American Whitewater lists that section as being class II-III+(IV) which means it is mostly class two to three plus with a class four rapid in there somewhere.
