That's a lot of river to check, could you drop a pin on a map where you lost it? It would greatly help in locating it.

Could you provide more specifics to where you had to leave it? It would help to know where it is so as much time as possible can be spent on the recovery as opposed to searching for it since that's 8 miles of river to search.

American Whitewater lists that section as being class II-III+(IV) which means it is mostly class two to three plus with a class four rapid in there somewhere. Sorry, I don't know about the parking. When we went to walk in someone had gotten permission for us to use a private access point at 34.773083, -92.876697 It looked like some sort of historic site that might get rented out for events but I'm not able to find any info about the place online now.
