Re: Frog Run Saturday 3-12-16
I'd like to get in on that. I haven't been on the frog since all of the flooding. I'm eager to see the changes....I'll try my best to be there by 11.

Re: Winding Stairs hike west of Mena AR
I've had the Sunday brunch a couple of times at the lodge. I haven't been there since they've reopened. I need to try and do that soon, I think. Never camped there though.

Re: Selling after shoulder surgery, boat and all gear
George, for what it's worth, I have that exact scar. I belly slid into home plate and into the catcher...catcher didn't move, and the cuff and muscle did...and not in a good way. Due to lack of insurance at the time, I dealt with not being able to lift my arm for several days, then it got better (bu...

Re: Winding Stairs hike west of Mena AR
Dave, I've hiked this, from Talimena state park, to the Pashubbe trailhead...a little over 34 miles. But I did it in several day hikes. Mostly just out and back at different access points on the trail, and a few where I parked a car, and got dropped off at other points on the trail. It's really a be...

Re: Tepui Tents
I think if you are looking at something like that, and have the money, then a SylvanSport GO trailer is the way to go. It's a bit much for my lifestyle...but perhaps if I had many many more vacation days. Looks to be made in NC (well, at least assembled there, don't know about the rest of it): http:...

Re: Cossatot First Timer
I really can't thank you all enough for yesterday. It was an fantabulous day from start to finish. A huge thank you to Heather and Chris for pushing forward with this event with flawless execution, and a huge thank you to everyone wearing the green tape, for without you, there would be no event. I w...

I could be up for that, but it would depend on what time you are thinking of getting on the river.

I hope it was open before this afternoon...since I registered at 8am this morning. It seemed to work for me and kicked out an invoice and a few emails, so I'll assume there were no problems.
