I have not paddles the LL, Roam, or torrent, however, my buddy paddled the torrent and said I should get it. I am really leaning towards a 9.5 foot kayak, since most guys I paddle with have 6 foot play boats. Fluid do it now huh? I'll google it right now! Thanks for replying!

I have never floated ABOVE Turner Bend, always the lower Mulberry. 2.8 and above seems fine on the lower. What is a doable level on the upper? Can a sit on top kayak handle it? Lots of whitewater? I'm interested.....

Where is hailstone and how far a run is it? I MAY be interested....

James, I am going to put in at the Grotto (low water bridge) and take out at Rudy. 12 mile run. With a couple stops, it is about a 3 hour run at this level. Gonna be too cold for me today! I only have a wetsuit. Did go yesterday and caught the Arkansas canoe club (about a dozen people), at the Frog at 3.4. Sun came out off and on, so it made it easier! I'll catch you another time. Unless the sun peeks out today!!!
