Hey Curtis!
What is your impression from your hike? Any notable drops other than Frog Falls? Thoughts on access points?
Also looks like Shrader Branch nearby might be good2go as well, although I don't see any good ways to access it without a long hike in from the Sunset Road area in Winslow.

Re: Beer Tipper, She's Back
Sounds good, it also seems like reliable river level beta might be a problem. Probably have to drive in and get a visual after a frog-strangler.

Re: Beer Tipper, She's Back
is the 7 bridges section the same as the "ribbit run"? Nope, higher up stream. Ribbit is Lancaster to Rudy and about an 8 mile run. There is another unnamed ~4 mile section above that from the Grotto to Lancaster, I've only floated it once and really have no desire to do it again unless s...

Re: Cadron Access?
I've had good luck with using Cadron Creek Outfitters, although my recent experiences with Sarah's wave is that it has been somewhat washed out at both a good medium level (3-4.5) and at higher levels (5+). I seem to recall it being taller and more retentive even down to 3 ft when I first started pa...

Re: Cadron Creek question....
I'm no geologist, but my guess is that over time, the creek turned west at pinnacle and followed the ridge line around, but eventually "broke through" the rock formation, creating the gap itself and bypassing the now slower loop. What you have left is the big rocks in the creek there at th...

It'd be awesome if a channel like that was built into Murray on the Arkansas here in LR :)

Re: Upper Buffalo river trip help
Given the section you want to float, I would say the "highest probability" of good water levels coinciding with your planned time to be there is late April/early May. It really just depends, though. It is incredibly hard to predict when and where the spring rains will fall, this far in adv...

Re: Helmet Opinions - for people with smaller heads
I have the same issues with helmet size. I'm a 6 7/8 hat size with a round head. Luckily for me, the 2015 Sweet Rocker M/L is smaller than last years and fits me perfect. I'm tempted to buy another as a backup.
