The Cossatot has a jump cliff at the end of the falls that might be good for climbing, and should be deep enough to fall off of, at least on some parts. That's all I know. Is there a possibility of any other swift-water rescue courses coming up in the next 7 months or so?

Does anyone who lives in or passes through Little Rock plan on going to Rockport any time soon? I NEED to get some paddling done, but I have no vehicle of my own. Will pay for all the gas, and might bring some booze along to share. It seems to be running semi-reasonable levels many days a week.

Awesome! This is the guy who is trying to get the kayak, replying. If you are wanting to go rafting, I can give you and few other people free trips, though if your daughter is 9 or older I would HIGHLY recommend she take the upper trip. It's honestly pretty kid friendly.

Cossatot is currently at over 6ft, and rising. I know it's cold out there but I really recommend you all take a day off and get out your boats and dry suits, whether you plan to let anyone tag along or not.
