Those boys ran some good hair. My DVD didn't have good sound but I really didn't need it. Pictures are worth a 1000 words.

Re: Passing of Don "Motor" Sims
RIP Motor....I paddled several river miles with Motor. The one that sticks out most to me was a trip out West on the Arkansas. Motor always said he would rather roll that brace. I never understood that. He had a epic surf in the Royal Gorge @ Sunshine Falls. I bet he rolled 10 times before he finall...

What a good time I had. We have some sweet and beautiful young ones in our group. I hope they all grow up to be paddlers and stewards of the water ways. Thanks for bring the kids out.

Santa coming to Club meeting?
Hi everyone,
If there is interest, I would come to our canoe club meet Monday 11/28 as Santa. If you want to bring your young ones to the meeting? Please respond to this? I would show up around 6 if that is OK with Tracy?

Re: New Member Seeking River Information
What Paddle Dog said about the "upper Elk" is true. It is a party river maybe a little bit R rated at times. There is a run on the Elk that is beautiful below Noel Mo. The take out is at a place called Cowskin. It has some pretty bluff lines and the fishn' isn't bad either. It is about 8 m...

Re: Pulp mill lower Caddo east of Amity AR
Hay guys I'm on your side! Not as smart as some y'all. I know tree farms are NOT forest I've seen them. As a matter of fact I LIVE in the woods. I've seen what growth has done to NWA. I own land in South Arkansas and have managed to keep our hard wood in the same condition they have been in for year...

Re: Pulp mill lower Caddo east of Amity AR
My wife is from Camden, we go down there often. The trees that would be used are from "tree farms" that have been in use for many years. I hope that the few oaks and other hard woods will not be cleared to make more tree farms. The water usage is a big concern however.

Re: Beer Tipper, She's Back
I've run the upper Frog with my buddy Brett. It is steep and narrow with strainer danger . There are 2 pretty good drops one is a good play spot close to the end of the run. As a matter of fact you can look up on a clear day and see Artist Point. The last time we ran it a farmer had strung up a barb...

Woo Hoo!!
I also thought that Gray Rock looked to coming back. It could be also that the river was running @ 18" airspace.
