Francine, Dave, and an attendant will fly out of Phoenix this morning heading for Tulsa. Shoudl land in Tulsa about 5:30 this afternoon!

More news from Francine. Dave is scheduled to be released from the facility in Prescott Valley on the 15th. His insurance will pay for Dave and a nursing attendant to fly to Tulsa. Just talked with Francine and the mood in Arizona is MUCH improved! She said that Dave just had a shower. He sat on a bench and did it himself!!And he's learning how to get around in a wheelchair. Being able to stay in the room with Dave makes Francine feel a lot better, too.

Arrangements have been made for Dave to fly home by air ambulance to a rehab facility in Tulsa. Barring blood clots or some other issue developing, he should be there by Monday at the latest. Francine said that Dave was given two pints of blood yesterday. She is not sure why. She also said that he has some fluid in his lungs. She's meeting with his rehab team on Monday and will let me know what they say.

Francine just called. Dave is back in his room. His physical therapy will start this afternoon. Francine will check to see timetable for release to Tulsa.

Francine hasn't called yet today, but she sounded better last night. Supposedly, Dave should get to go back to Tulsa to a rehab facility there in about a week after the back surgery. Dave's back surgery went well. He is in recovery and should be back in his room sometime tonight. Doctors have ordered more x-rays of his right leg to determine treatment for it. Dave's back surgery has been postponed. Michelle (daughter) had to go home, but Francine's sister is on her way to Flagstaff.

Dave is still in no shape to take calls. Hopefully he is in surgery right now. But cards would be great.
