We would put ourselves in the intermediate class. I have used kayaks in the ocean in Mexico. I have spent a lot of time in canoes. We are definitely looking at river runners. I am 6 ft. My gal IS 5.9 THANKS AGAIN!!!

My girlfriend and I are looking for a couple of used whitewater level kayaks. Appreciate any offers or advice about reccomended makes or models. I am in Shreveport, she lives near Little Rock.

In the very near future, one or two weeks away, my girlfriend and I will load up and go. We will send advance notice to Bronco Girl and anyone else who wants to run. I guess I will leave my safety helment with the deer antlers at home.

I can't wait to head to Arkansas after Hurricaine Isaac passes through. There should be some good canoeing opportunities. Any suggestions on the best rivers to run?
