Went out to check it out today, and I am so impressed! Anyone take anything other than a whitewater kayak down the rapids? I have a recreational kayak and I'm not sure I'd make it down without swamping it! I might be willing to try anyway. I'll just prepare for a swim.

Can you still park alongside the dirt road?

We have been out on the White River from the dam to the Houseman access several times and were thinking of going from the Houseman access to Beaver. Has anyone done that stretch? Are there any good flows there, or is it mostly paddling?

Heard from the lady at Hwy 59 Canoeing today that they are *supposed* to start work on it in August. Not sure how accurate it is, but I'd sure like to see it. The water is flowing really nicely out there this weekend!

Awww... I'm so disappointed I missed out! How are the water levels out there?
