Hi Christy. I was thinking about launching from the ramp beside I-30 this year. But if you would prefer to launch from Burns, then I will too. I enjoyed this event last year. Looking forward to it again!

Wow...impressive! And it looks like you had too much fun in the process. Our load was much smaller, but we had a pretty good time too.

Okay, next time! Maybe the Federal Government will be running by then and you can launch from Cooks Landing.

Thanks for the offer! My kayak won't hold much. I spoke with Randy Naylor, the coordinator, and he suggested I work in the area of the Burns Park boat ramp. He said its filthy (I can second that). I hope to get out there by 8:30. I will be looking for the boat with the big fan. Hope to see you there...

I have seen a kayak on the Arkansas River a couple of times in the morning, but I was on my bike at the time, and the kayak was in the middle of the river.
