I have to wonder if the nice folks on the Clark County Economlc Development Committee honestly believe the 350 Jobs created would be worth throwing away the millions of dollars the people of Arkansas have spent advertising this as the Natural State and allowing our ERW's to be polluted by this type ...

Word has it a Japanese company has purchased a large track on the lower Caddo. They built a fence around this property in 'a week. They are setting 3 phase power to this property. Does anyone know whether they have filed permits with the ADEQ If I'm not mistaken the Caddo River is an ERW? Has anyone...

Hey Randy the run beiow the spillway can be class 4 in higher flows and is jagged shale bedrock for a quarter runout: down to the low water bridge on the 24000 road is mostly class 2+ with a couple le of nice rock gardens. I ran the upper run from the top down to Dark Corners deer lease with Duffy, Jim Simmons (the younger Jim Simmons). It takes a least 2to 3" to get it going. probably needs a good cleaning, but definitely a blast at the right levels. Love to Amy and Joe C. BGW

Chris and I looked at Brushy, Chris hiked it we talked about it but as far as I know he didn't ever run it, but thats not to say he didn't either. I thought it might not be open enough, so I didn't go back, sounds like it was good, to go. I believe you may an Ar. first. BGW

The couple in the black truck had some trouble, I found them just below wher Cove Creek enters the river. the young lady had a swim upstream and wanted, to walk out, so I helped them get out, to the forest service road and took them back, to their truck around 6:30. they were fine and glad,to be off...

I was at the Deberry Low water bridge, around 6:00 pm the level was still mid 4 ft. range. My best guess is it will hold or drop slowly thru the night. there was still over an inch of snow or more over the entire watershed might even bump again tomorrow afternoon to mid 4ft range. I'll be at the low...
