Thanks everyone. Sounds like very good advice all around. I'll keep my eyes open for Liquid Logic 9's and 10's, as well as the Dagger Approach. Maybe the river gods will smile and I can find something before the fall floating season.

I'm in the market for a beginner's river/recrational kayak. Can you send a photo, along with any information about the differences, if any between your two, and accessories available? I have no paddle, life vest, carrier, etc. Also, where are you located? I'm in Fayetteville.
