Re: canoe for sale

Could you send me some more photos?
I'm interested in how the gunnels look and the skid plates on the hull.

But I agree, I don't want to make the drive unless I'm sure I will buy it.

Thanks,

T.J.

Re: Wanna boat

Wenonah Argosy, Mad River Freedom Solo and Mohawk Odyssey 14 are the three off the top of my head I'd be on the look out for.

Re: Best Tandem Whitewater Canoe

If you can find a Dagger/Mad River Legend, that would be high on my list. Maybe a Nova Craft Prospector or Moisie? They got a new material called Tuff Stuff you might look in to it.

Mohawk Scamp 14 for trade maybe sale

I recently purchased a Mohawk Scamp, a 14' 3" solo canoe. Little too much rocker in it for me and would like to find something that tracks better. Ideally I would want a Wenonah Argosy, but will listen to any reasonable offers. A tandem that solos easily is also a possibility. Willing to travel...

Re: Canyon Coolers

Thanks for the feedback. I emailed Canyon directly, and got a very quick and honest answer to my questions. Yeti uses a BASF foam insulation, whereas Canyon uses a product made by Huntsman in Alabama. Canyon also admits that Yetis often have a better fit an finish and have recessed hinges, but remai...

Re: Canyon Coolers

I have put my canyon cooler right beside my buddies yeti all weekend long just to see who got the better deal! I think I won considering all the $$$ still in my pocket. Glad to hear they stand behind their product. Levi If money wasn't a factor, is the Yeti better? I'm probably going to get a premi...

Re: South Fork of Spring

Well with the long drive and low water we decided to go the lower Buffalo. I still plan on getting out to the South Fork. I've heard its a very good fishing stream. Thanks for recommending Southforkresort, don't know why I didn't find them on my google research before I posted here. I like long floa...

South Fork of Spring

Wanting to float Southfork of the Spring River, mostly for fishing reasons, and want to do a 2 or 3 day float. Thinking about putting in at Hwy 9 Access, just north of Salem and I notice a low water bridge about 17 miles down on a road called Fernwood Rd, or Co Rd 198. I live in Fayetteville, too fa...
