I'm seriously thinking about a 4 day trip the week after Christmas. I did a Christmas trip last year and really enjoyed it. All depends on rain at this point.

The party river part is a big turn off for me. I like as much solitude as possible. If I can't work it out I can always paddle the Neches in East Texas. The water isn't great but it's very remote.
