Re: Ark WW DVD at Ozark Mtn Trading Co

I'm a big fan of Larry and the boys at Ozark Mtn. Trading as well. Always a pleasure to deal with. They did a great job back in November at Lincoln Lake. They brought out a bunch of boats and had them available for demo all day.

I will be there with the family. A little colder than expected, but it should still be a good time.

Re: ouachita and degray lakes

Those are great. Thanks for sharing. Are there any parts of Lake Ouachita where bald eagles are seen more than others?

Re: Lake surfing?

I was in the middle of Lake Ouachita near Mt. Harbor this past weekend and the wind was blowing pretty good. It wasn't white capping, but I could feel myself being pushed along rather nicely with the wind at my back. It was mini-surfing at best. I was rather enjoyable until I had to turn around and ...

Dagger Axis 10.5 - $500 (sold)

This is a 2010 model Dagger Axis 10.5 that was purchased in December of 2009. I purchased it for its ability to cross over from moving water to still water due to its drop skeg. Of the dozen times I've had it out only once was it on moving water. I have since purchased a touring kayak and need to le...

Kayak wall hanger idea

Just thought I would share. After doing a lot of reading on how to store a plastic kayak, hanging it on its side seems like an accepted practice. I found some nice hangers at Home Depot for $5 each and an old cargo strap. It hangs nicely, the weight is distributed well on just the strap and there is...

Re: Tsunami 125 vs. Inuit 125

As far as secondary stability, I felt more comforable in the Tsunami. As mentioned, the Inuit seemed to have a clear point of no return. I felt I would have a better chance for recovery in the Tsunami. Yes, I am aware of the leaning trick. Track straight, turn on a dime. Why can't they do both? :)
