Re: Easiest way to cut chunk out of canoe saddle???
I'd try using a keyhole saw to cut the opening, then snake a little rope saw behind to cut the back edge loose.
Hope this helps.

Re: Removing glue from Royalex
Hey, Randy!
I bought a used Impulse.
I read on another forum about using WD-40. I let it soak like you did, & most of it came off.
Still working on the outfitting, not sure if it will be done by Saturday. I ordered some air bags & they're not here yet.

Removing glue from Royalex
If any of you remember Max Wellhouse, he told me about the 3M Pinstripe Removal Tool to get contact cement & minicell residue off the Royalex. It works well on most stuff, but I just bought a boat with quite a bit of different types of adhesives left over from previous outfitting. Anyone have su...

Re: @#&*$#%@&*$# Buffalo Gnats are back!!!
I use a spray made of vanilla extract & a little bit of water. It works for about 10 minutes, then they're back. Better than nothing.
I was in Louisiana last week, they were THICK down there.
Just saw the above post...artificial vanilla. Cool. Never heard of the Listerine before.

Viewing Message Board in Safari
I can't log into the message board when I use Safari on my Macs. It lets me log in, but when it returns me to the board index, it logs me out.
Firefox works, and Internet Explorer on PC works for me also.
Just FYI.
Thanks.

I just re-joined
I'm back in the Arkansas Canoe Club. Just bought another solo boat, a Dagger Impulse from OldBlueHoleDude. Need to tweak the outfitting, but I know my old knees will still give me fits. I plan on dropping in on Saturday at Canoe School..or whatever the event is officially named. Glad to be back, and...
