I'm about 18 miles south of E.S. My days off are Monday and Tuesday. I'm usually fishing on the creek atleast one of those days (if not both). If you can make it on either a Monday or a Tuesday let me know and we'll hit the War Eagle or the Kings.

Floated it Monday & Tuesday. Weather and water was good with no major strainers. As far as fishing goes I've done better and I've done worse. We had a couple of decent smallies but nothing to write home about.

We were going to do this section this past Monday and Tuesday but the rain washed us out. Hope to do it next week so leave a couple fish for me...As far as the chicken cages go I've seen them on the War Eagle as well and they're a huge blemish on the creek. I don't know about the cages on the Kings ...

cpresoz- yeah you ought to be good to go this weekend. We got enough rain over here to bring the creek up a little bit, have fun.

dax-I've got to agree with you on Kennon's book. I've got a copy for my truck and one for my coffee table.

Hwy. 412 to Hwy 23 is a good fishing float. We floated and fished it on Monday morning. I don't know of anybody who runs a shuttle on that end of the creek though, but it's only about 5 miles on the highway from bridge to bridge. Thanks for the directions. I don't know when I'll make it up there yet, it's going to be sometime Mon-Wed. I floated from Trigger Gap to the Farm on Tuesday and it was a little low but floatable. Maybe we'll get a little rain this weekend though.

Does anybody out there know how to get to Romp Hole from Stoney Point? Planning on floating that section next week if I can get some good directions.

Found it but didn't make it this week due to the high water. If any of you guys ever need some one to go fishing with on the Kings on a Monday or Tuesday let me know. I usually fish it at least 2-3 times a month.

Thanks for the info. We're going try to float Grandview to Stoney next Monday now that I know where Stoney is. Appreciate the help.
