If you want to be a white water kayaker in Arkansas you need a dry top, and eventually a dry suit. When it comes to staying warm and dry cheaper should be the least of your concerns. You can have that debate on other gear.

I like many others have learned so much from Dave! He is in alot of ways responsible for my level of paddling. We all missed you at the vous! It won't be an easy recovery, but I have faith in ya! Remember your the man Dave and loved by many!

Ryan I to have had to have a screw or two put in my arm. I agree with Dale its more of a recovery than you think. And, the metal tends to hurt when it gets cold
