Thank you Ryan. It means a lot to hear the stories from those of you that were there.
Lots more to tell you, but not sure of the words. Thinking of you and the others, and hope you feel the support you need right now.

Re: RIP Jon Kennedy
Steve, Thanks for posting the obituary. I want to share an a little bit of an exchange I had with someone via PM this morning. "All the guys I saw at the Ford back in winter, Jon was the only one that went beyond a nod - and walked over to introduce himself, the sport, and help me to realize it...

TAKEN: West Systems Epoxies for boat work
I have about 1/3 to 1/2 gallon of their 105/205 in cans with the metered pump dispensers, about 3.5 years old. I also have a small amount of G-Flex. Moving, and I am not interested in packing these in the truck. Located in Fayetteville. Please PM me, as I am not checking the board much right now. Th...

Re: Last Royalex Boat; What Would It Be and Why?
I haven't spent nearly enough time in one, but I have to say the Dagger Ocoee may be the most capable, adaptable solo ww boat ever made. The variety of stuff I've seen people do in that hull is just stupefying. That said, I think the thing we may miss the most, because it really can't be replaced, ar...

Re: Robson CU Fly in Atlanta $1200
I think a fair price for a CUFly is $400-500. there are two versions of the Blackfly (original and the Delta), both newer, better designs. Some Blackflys available used for $700 or so.
YMMV!

Re: The Ford Sunday
We'll see how it goes. I haven't been out there, but I have heard it's trashy. The Spark might be just the ticket... Fast hull with lots of rocker in the bow.Regud wrote:I want to see a t-gripper surf the lower wave! It was all two blades today!

Womens wetsuit very good condition $50 obo
This is a surf-style wetsuit (XCEL brand) that my wife bought, but discovered it was not the right size after trying to make it work for her. She cut the arms at the shoulders so she could swim in it, so it is effectively a farmer jane, but still doesn't fit her correctly. Size is a women's 10 short...

Re: NW Chapter Meeting Mon 25th, 6:30 Foghorn's
I believe the objection to Jim's was the quality of food, but again, if I can't even GET food at Foghorns, than that's worse than bad food. I vote we go back to Jim's, who always took care of use in a timely manner. (FWIW, I think the food at Jim's is okay anyway...)

Re: NW Chapter Meeting Mon 25th, 6:30 Foghorn's
My first time at Foghorns, but I thought the service was terrible, and no meeting room. Why are we there? I'd rather meet at Wendy's. Can we go back to Whole Hog or Jims?

Re: Progress on Fisher's Ford Park
Of course... once you reminded me of the bank improvements on river right, it makes sense that they can do that all with a construction wall that stays up till the project is finished. Can't wait to go check out the features in a few weeks!
