Re: how's the water?

Oh, the table function makes all the difference! I'd given up on trying to get any specific time data from the graphs. Thanks!

how's the water?

I see Entergy is showing daily releases starting at 10a.m. Does anyone know if this is happening on schedule? Water getting to the ledge 12:30-1:00'ish?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: Rockport camping options

A group of us actually did camp at the WW park on my first trip over, but we didn't know we needed a permit. Drove all over the area looking for a site and couldn't find one anywhere, so we just headed back to the park and pitched tents. Never got hassled; was a nice quiet evening. I may give city h...

Re: Rockport camping options

Thanks for the info! Guess I'll take my chances with one or the other; hate I can't reserve something, though.

Rockport camping options

Hi ya'll,

I'm thinking about doing a Fri/Sat trip to the ledge from Meowmfus, and it appears camping spots at Lake Catherine are full. Are there any other nearby options? I nabbed a spot at DeGray time, but I'd like to see if I could find something closer.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Re: rockport reports?

Cowper,

Thanks for the firsthand report! Had hoped to make it over today, but it looks like we've got enough for boatball tonight so I'm probably going to shoot for a weekend trip.

Re: rockport reports?

Hey, has anybody been out there? I know the level sounds right, but I've noticed it seems to wash out after the flow's been going for a while. Thinking about a day trip over from Memphis and would appreciate any info.

Thanks,
Michael

Re: 2010 RENDEVOUS ...

This was my first time at Rendezvous, and it was really great. Met a lot of nice folks and the facilities & food were just excellent! Couple that with beautiful weather and two days to exercise my limited boating skills at the ledge...couldn't ask for a better weekend! Special thanks to Ray and ...

newbie Q

Hi, I was wondering if and when (and where) there is some sort of group class on kayaking basics (especially rolling) anytime in the near future. I recently bought a boat, got the gear, just need to know how to keep my head toward the sunshine...and probably some other stuff, as well. The SWR class ...
