Re: How much was a brand new Buffalo back when Royalex was still in production? Roughly.

Seems like I remember shopping for a new Buffalo and the pricing was around $700 for a basic 16 footer. This was around 2008.

Re: Buffalo Canoe decals

If anyone has the measurements of the both the height of the letters and the length of the word "BUFFALO" , that would be a big help. I could then order some vinyl decals in a font that matches. Thanks!

Buffalo Canoe decals

I'm restoring a couple of 16ft Buffalo canoes and am looking for some decals. Does anyone know where I could order some? I'm searching for the simple BUFFALO lettering that goes on the sides, and/or the round buffalo image often seen on the front sides. Any help appreciated!

Old Town Kennebec 16 Canoe SOLD

I've got an Old Town Kennebec 16 for sale. My wife and I got this earlier this year for 2-3 day floating trips, but it has more of a rocker than we are used to. We need something that is more of a tank that plows through the waves, loaded down with gear. It feels "tippy" to me, since it is...

Re: lake ouachita eagles

Great photos. Nicely done. You must have a pretty good zoom lens to get those good close ups.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Snow on the Buffalo?

Wish we could join you on the Kings, but we've gottta do the Buffalo because of time restraints for some in the party. Your talk of polar bear swimming has me scared too!

lol you guys have fun. We'll send a shout out over the mountain when we tip our canoes :)

Snow on the Buffalo?

Anyone know if there was snowfall last night on the Buffalo River? I'm planning a New Year's Day snow float, and am wondering if there will still be any on the ground on Friday.

Any info appreciated!

Any word on if this event is in the works for next year? I hope it was successful enough, the music was fantastic!

Re: ILLINOIS BAYOU, HECTOR TO SCOTTSVILLE, WEDNESDAY 11/11/09

I'm glad you had a good time, thanks for the report. I know what you mean about 5.7 being low. Four of us took a couple of tandem canoes on the stretch a few weeks ago to test the level at 5.6 feet. This was bare minimum for us, and I made a mental note at the time to keep our future runs at 6 feet ...

Wish we could join you, that's a great stretch of the river... Gotta work tomorrow :(

Have fun, and please post what you see. I haven't been on that section since the last crest/flood.
