Re: found pinned boat on a ark river
We have spoke to the owers, who are from Wisconsin! And I thought we had to drive a long way (mississippi). They just want us to give it to the Rangers at the Buffalo. I guess we will have to get another float in. Oh by the way the owners are still looking for their paddles. I told him we didn't see...

Re: found pinned boat on a ark river
This is a canoe that was just found on the Buffalo, it couldn't have been in the water too long maybe just a couple of days. We feel that it was left pinned and the owners couldn't get it out.

Re: 4th of July Solitude on the Buffy
It tooks us 7 nights 8 days. The river was up and we could do 20 miles a day easly, had the river not been it would have taken alot longer. If you get the chance I highly recommend it. We pretty much had the river to ourselves except for the weekends.

My husband and I did Ponca to Buffalo City back in April, it was an awesome trip. I love the Buffalo too! Keith said it was one of the most relaxing trips he has ever been on.

Info Lake Ouachita
Hi, new to the forum, long time member of the Bluff City Canoe Club. Planning a trip to lake Ouachita in Sep. Taking our sea kayaks...wanting info on favorite sections of the lake. Would like to camp on one of the islands, it would just be for the weekend.
Thanks!
