Jeepers, for once living in Wisconsin (at least my part of it) is actually better than living there!

It's bound to be a book! And I hope they are taking lots of pictures, too! Oh, to be retired . . .

I've only been on the Buffalo a couple of times, so my mind map of the river is not good, but I do know they were going to try and cover about 20-22 miles a day. If that wind they were expecting the first couple of days didn't slow them down too much, that might give you an idea of where they are by...

You've got that right, Richard! Every time I look at pictures I want to experience it again. What a treasured resource that river is, and what wonderful people you all are (can you tell I'm a Wisconsinite? didn't write y'all!) to want to share it with everyone!

Such beautiful pictures! It has been about 2 1/2 years since I've had the opportunity to visit and float the Buffalo and the Eleven Point. Those are wonderful memories with lots of great people . . . guess what's on my "bucket list!"

Terry, I don't think anyone could have put it more eloquantly than you just did . . . he does so much for everyone, especially when it comes to his beloved Buffalo! Just ask him how many canoes, stoves, tents, cots, sleeping bags, etc. that he has . . . and he shares without a thought so others can...
