I noticed that ACC is not listed as an affilate paddling club with American Whitewater. Most paddling clubs across the US are. Does anyone know if there is a reason or is this just an oversight. AW does quite a lot for river sports across the US.

We visited the Olympic Peninsula area over Thanksgiving. Every home in that area has a bright red sign in the yard that says, "Stop the Wild Olympics Land Grab". Lots of anti government/environment sentiment locally.
