Thanks rouble,
I found the AWW site ok now. Maybe it'd just been too long since I'd looked for it.

Re: AWW
Hey Chris,
I was talking to a friend today and he's having trouble finding the AWW site on our home page too. Where's it at on there?

Hey Chris,
The ACC river level link used to come up on the site when I'd put my mouse hand over the river info tool thing. Now, only the ozark pages river info comes up. That's what I was talking about. I don't see the link that you're talking about. Thanks.

I probably missed the conversation on here, but I guess the American Whitewater river level guages are no longer available on here?

Re: What's the level?
I suppose the Richland crossing and the Woolum crossing are the only two ways to drive to that area? I agree, Richland seems pretty deep.

What's the level?
Does anyone know what the level of the Buffalo has to be around Woolum to be able to ford the river and drive to the other side near Richland? I have done it before but don't remember what the level was.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Cadron Creek question....
Yea, it's an interesting place. There are boulders larger than two or three vehicles washed downstream for probably 200 yards. That's what makes me wonder if it was a flood of some type.

Cadron Creek question....
Everyone who's floated the Cadron Creek has floated through Pinnacle Points Gap. Here, the creek used to make about a 1.5 mile loop to the west and flowed back into the creek just below the PPG. Has anyone ever seen what caused the creek to change course here? Some friends and I floated it this past...

Re: Open boat suggestions
I have a Mohawk Probe 12 that I've paddled for around 10 years and have been satisfied with it. Before I bought it, I asked around kinda like you are. Bob Stout had a Probe, I liked it and figured I might as well buy something and just get used to it. That's what I did and have been happy with it.

It's kinda like carrying a throw rope, you don't keep one in your boat for yourself.

Re: Repairing on an alum canoe
Thanks for the replies! I opted for 1/2" stainless screws with a nylon lock nut. I put a little sealer on before tightening them down. I haven't put her on the water yet to check for leaks, but it looks ok for an old aluminum canoe. While working on it, I found the manufacturing plate. It's a O...

Repairing on an alum canoe
I've got a Ouachita that's about 40 years old that needs some of the rivets replaced, they're leaking. Anyone done this before? I suppose I just need to get the right diameter rivets, hold a hammer on the bottom, get a ballpine, and brad them on the inside. I'm wondering if a stove bolt with the nut...

Boy, I'll bet you're glad you weren't strapped in the thing that whole time! So now, you going to be like a cowboy? A good rider gets bucked off a big ole bronk, dusts himself off, and climbs back on just to show him who's boss. I've seen the Duke do it many a time. You're a pretty good paddler, now...
