Not many (intentional) lengthy overnight whitewater runs in the southeast where a hatch comes in handy but it was great on the Colorado. I do like the fact of not worrying about airbags.

I got a very small amount of water in the hatch each day, about a quarter cup or less. I learned to put everything on top of my frisbee and it stayed dry.
