I really appreciate the clean up on Piney. i love that that place, i grew up camping on the banks of big piney during the summertime.

Im wanting to post and let everyone that runs Galla creek near Pottsville, that you can still park at the usual spot on the right just before the bridge (coming from the interstate). I have relatives that own that property, they dont mind the parking.

U can stop by the house in the curve on the right (between Hudson Road and the bridge) i think they own the land, so talk to them they are a nice older couple. they will probably know more about the spot where u guys are parking, if there are any issues with parking and puting in on Galla let me ...

Thanks, it will be a late springtime trip early summer, me and girl freind taking a canoe. There might be some dragging, but it will work out fine since i love wade fishing for smallies. I want to do a overnight or two night trip from upper Big Piney (near Limestone) to Longpool. I know there might be some boat dragging on upper part but i dont mind that.I have driven all the roads up there, but would like to see what i am missing on upper Piney. Now ive heard it all. I heard from someone that the big man is wanting to tax cattle farmers per cow because of the greenhouse gasses they let off when they fart and take a crap. Anyone else know of this? Or can i say this is as much b.s as looking for that da#m woodpecker.

We had Dirst rentals or (Durst) how ever its spelled, they took our truck to Shipps take out at around 10:00 am the day after we put on the lower Buffalo wilderness section, we arrived about 9:00 and they showed up right about on time.

If ever in the Russellville area, Holla bend wild life refuge might be something to check out, south of Dardanelle 10 miles or so right next to the Arkansas river.
