Hey Seth,
School and working at Mercy means less paddling time for me, but I hope we can get out sometime this spring.

Re: Paddlers Springfield/Branson MO area?
I will paddle with you anytime. But, our creeks are as low as I have ever seen them, and we have no prospects for them to come up anytime soon. I love to paddle but have taken up other hobbies. You might want to give out your phone number, when the creeks run, you will not likely get into a group vi...

Re: Any bikers? info??
I raced mountain and road bikes for many years in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. once you have the basics covered such as finding the right bike that fits your needs, fits your body etc., the next most important thing I think of is mechanical knowledge. Mt. biking involves breaking and we...

I am definitely no expert, just a guy who took a class. I am sure there are probably proffesionals who are reading this that forgot much more than I ever learned.

Re: Water-borne killer!
If I remember correctly from microbiology, Naeglaria is present in almost any warm water, so chances are we have all been exposed multiple times. The key to the pathology is when it crosses the meninges into the brain. It is very rare and for some reason affects mostly young males under 25. We don't...

Re: FS: Prijon Embudo Creekboat
I have one and like it a lot. I encourage anyone with the cash to buy it. Drain plugs are available through NRS. Very durable boat. Wish I could use mine more, but unfortunately we have moved to the desert. (Desert moved to us?)

My friend Mackey has a blue arkota and likes it a lot. It sure gets a lot of attention from people asking about it.

I love this river, it is usually great trout fishing too. On memorial weekend camping opportunities will be limited since it is very heavilly traveled on summer weekends. I will be going sometime next week during the middle of the week. Looking forward to it. I plan to bring my goggles to look at th...

Re: Recommended floats around Branson, MO?
I highly recomend Beaver creek that goes through kisee mills, class 1 but good wilderness feel since it goes through a large section of national forest. If there is a little rain bull creek is fun with a little class II. I also like Crane creek that goes through crane missouri, I do the lower sectio...

Re: Any good places in branson to kayak
Bull creek is at a decent medium low level, I am going to go there after my last final exam today. Will run the round mountain to walnut shade section, or if it is getting late will park and play. (417)350-414six, if anyone wants to join me. If not I will shuttle with my bike. If I don't answer I am...
