What time are you going to the Mulberry Diane? I'd like to come too.

It was rockin on Monday......... I took pictures.......no signs of letting up...
Got to still be up today.........the gauge is never a good indication of the river at the playspot.

I have been scouting Lee Creek this week and it's rocking and rollin'! I took pictures with my new camera but haven't uploaded them yet...

I prefer a bent shaft, because I've had problems with carpal in the past. I like it better for rolling too. It's easier to find the correct paddle orientation underwater. I prefer the feel of the AT shafts and wouldn't trade my AT2 SL for anything! Me toooo.......I started out with a bent shaft pad...

Thank you very very much for the heads up! It would have been very unpleasant to drive all the way there only to find the road closed!!!!!!!

I am with you on that one.........holding my breath we don't get any more snow or ice.........
I won't make it either if we get more nasty ice on the roads......I really want to paddle but not if the Pig Trail is too dangerous for me to drive.

Let Susan and I know where you want to go. Susan says she would be up for a trip as long as I let her take the Skreem and a spray skirt this year....., and she promises to stay away from the undercut bluff and admire it from a far this time. Will have to check with Mary to see if she is off or work...

I am off work New Years eve.......I am wide open for paddling..and swimming alllllllllllllll day.

I have to work on Friday, New Year's Day and Saturday, Jan 2.
Then I can paddle again on Sunday morning early.....gotta be to work at 1pm...........

I might try to pull off another upper kings river trip (marble to marshall ford) ....if there is any interest?.. on the other hand if your going to" polar swim" we all might come to see that for 2010 :beer: :beer: I used polar swim on the Mulberry when I first started paddling in Jan, '00...

Any New Year's icicle paddle trips/parties planned for this weekend at the Frogger or Mulberry????? Something local yocal? I am working some but have some time to paddle.......not enough to road trip or go camping.
Do they still do the polar bear swim on the Frog?
