I am going to take my wife and girls camping Saturday night somewhere outside of NW Arkansas and am looking for a good spot to view the meteor shower. I was thinking about one of the spots near Spy Rock or somewhere else on or near the Mulberry but not sure what spots have a relatively open view of ...

Cowper that is correct....almost :) . The turn off is indeed east of the Kyle's landing road turn, but probably a little less than .2 miles....more like .1 miles...if that.
