Witch Hazel
Today I noticed at least one budding bloom on 3 different bushes. These are in a deep valley in northern Crawford County. I've been watching these for thirty years and have never seen any blooms before early - mid January. It's not a full on bloom but they are putting their yellow out! Anybody else ...

Re: OKC is hiring raft guides
What do you call a raft guide without a girlfriend?
Homeless.
How many raft guides does it take to screw in a light bulb ?
Raft guides don't screw in light bulbs , they screw in dirty sleeping bags.

Re: Floatation bag installation question
Drill - the gunnels are attached to the boat by drilling. Any ancillary problems by going to the core are nonexistent, not to mention that the top of the hull is open and water does not penetrate it. Something bad happened @ Nat. Dam
After leaving my place I went to take a look at Mountain Fork. Sheriffs were turning everybody around. Natural Dam had a big hydrolic at the bottom. Couldn't see the low water bridge but I'm sure it was over or sucking air through the tubes. Met ambulance, more sheriffs, Game and Fish and Search and...

No, Fire Flies, Light'n bugs! Sorry, I "got ahead "of myself last nite. I can't remember the tribes coming out this early. Pine Mtn was aglow. I also have a Ft. Smith news paper article that says the Ft. Smith water supply is "drought proof". It has been fading in my Baever Pond ...

Re: WTB Some of those little thingies
Back in 1988 I had just purchased the first edition Daggar Caper now owned by Mr. "Prophet". I rigged it out with the newly devised and very expensive NRS 3d float bags. I used screws eyes in the plastic gunnels that looked about the same size Roger posted. I was very proud and a fairly ho...
