Thanks for the info Cowper and Perspective! I wanted to day hike down to a site on Richland (where the creek takes a hard bend to the north) where a huge rock has a crawl space underneath (at least it used to) where I found an imprint of the trunk of a Lepidodendron "tree" trunk. I crawled...

Is road 1205, aka Falling Water road open all the way to the bridge just downstream of the FS campground, or do ya gotta drive in from the north. Planning on hiking downstream from the bridge on the Ozark Highlands trail this weekend.
