Re: Mulberry,Cadron,Big Piney?

Just finished the Cadron, I live close so it's a nice relaxing few hours. We may try to go again Sunday if the H2o doesn't dry up.

Re: Cadron Creek

I personally would suggest the stretch from the 65 bridge to the 285 bridge. It is a 10 mile float that would only take about 3 hours with the water as high as it is now. It is the most scenic part of the river. Driving time from one bridge to the other is only 10-15 min. Have fun whichever route yo...

Re: Cadron New Access

Thanks for the directions. I went down there today to check it out. It's only about 15 mins from the house, so I will definately use that access next time I float. Hopefully we get a little rain soon.

Cadron New Access

Where is the "New access" that I see talked about on the Cadron? I usually put in at 65 and go to the bogalooshie bridge or whatever it's called. I know about The Pinacle Springs bridge about 3.5 miles up from 65, and I also know about the Mill Bridge 10 miles up from that. From what I und...

Re: Saturday floating

Landcruiser, The 65 Bridge is a few miles north of Geenbrier. You will probably be coming down south 25 to get there right? You will turn left at the Ozark Trade Center sign. It's a huge Flea Market with a blue octagon shaped sign that can be seen from a few miles out as you get to Twin Groves. The ...

Re: Saturday floating

I went down to the Cadron about 10 min ago, and it's perfect for a float trip. If the sun stays out 2morrow like today, I will be there for sure. I may go this afternoon when I find another paddler. The guage is for the area around the 65 bridge which is where most people take out. We usually put in...

Re: Saturday floating

We were on The Cadron last weekend from the 65 bridge to the 287 bridge, and the water was up. It was moving pretty swift at 5'. We did the 10 mile trip in under 3 hours in a canoe. It's went down a little more and cleared up since then. I live close by, and I planned on goin by tomorrow morning to ...

UPPER BUFFALO LEVEL

We are planning to float the upper part of the Buffalo this weekend(July 12), and my question is this: How much rain is needed to float it this time of the year? I went to Kyle's Landing on Memorial Day weekend and it was too dry, but I hear with a decent rain you can float around this area. My 1st ...
