the last two digits on the serial number plate might indicate the year it was made. I think that is the case on most buffalo canoes, or maybe that was blue hole canoes...

Kings River Outfitters has a nice place to camp down by the river. 10-15 minutes from Eureka.

It's possible, but I would rather have 3 or 4 days. Especially with low river levels.

Is this an old town canoe?

i'm interested. i will need some aqua therapy pretty bad by then.

Strapped in the bed, angled toward the passenger side, with the tailgate down won't work? I did that for a long time with a single cab F-150 and 16'-17' canoes. Only got stopped by the police once.
