Re: NWA Paddle on Mon. Dec 14
I'll probably take off at noon tomorrow and get a run in from Fort Smith. I am thinking West Cedar or Lee Creek, but am open to suggestions.

Re: Jack Creek
We hit Jack Creek at a much lower but still fun level this morning, then finished up Sugar Creek at 2.2. Sugar never got below 3' yesterday and we were hoping for another high water day today, but it only came up 2 inches after the morning rains. Still great fun with lots of nice rapids and creek su...

Re: Jack Creek
It ended up raining quite a bit more so I don't think you could have gotten to the sugar creek putin without a big truck this afternoon. Jacks creek was a hoot though. I would think that without any more rain, sugar will still be doable early am, with more rain it could be big again. Watch out, for ...

Jack Creek
Jacks creek is running big, we will be running several laps. Sugar is too high, but should be runnable in an hour or 2.

Re: Hurricane Creek Video
Judging by the video, what level does that correlate to your gauge? It impressed me that Upper Hurricane was at a good high level but Spirits Creek and Little Mill Creek were on the low side. That's good to know since they are all so close together - if Little Mill is low, you might get a good run o...

Re: Hurricane Creek Video
I'm glad you all went back and got the chainsaw to cut the tree out of the road, couldn't have made it otherwise. That was a good show at Waka. Here is the show, free to download https://archive.org/search.php?query=Ra ... 20mulberry" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hurricane Creek Video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oLE2sXg8QM&feature=youtu.be This is upper Hurricane Creek that runs into Shores Lake near the Mulberry. It has a near continuous gradient in the first half of the 9 mile run, with some nice ledges and a bunch of holes and big waves. There are numerous rapids tha...

Re: Lee Creek gauge needs maintenance
Thanks Steve! Sig - no confusion on the gauge, it's the one at Short Oklahoma. Check out the gauge page http://www.ozarkpages.com/cgi-bin/stages.pl?ST=level" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , find Lee Creek, then click on the USGS link http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv/?site_...

Re: Lee Creek gauge needs maintenance
Lee was at a good level again yesterday, I'd say over 7 feet. It will be there again today.
