Gear Advice: Truck Bed Racks.

I have a Toyota Tundra Crewmax and want to install racks for the bed area. My primary use will be hauling boats including tandem canoes, creek kayaks and fishing/rec kayaks. I am considering the following choices: Thule 500XT Xsporter. Pros: More versatile; rack adjusts height Con: More expensive; o...

Re: Saturday 4/2 Trip to Piney

I plan to join. I am leaving from LR and have room for another boat. But be warned, I will be in a kayak so you may prefer other company.

Re: Are there any artists here?

Thanks Prairie Tater for posting that map. We have had a copy of that map at our place at Phillip's Ford for as long as I can remember. It remains the only map that I have ever seen to note the location of Phillips ford. John

You have plenty of time to see the log and reposition. At our level yesterday (2.5'), it was tempting for a few of our boaters to ...

Re: Current River: 2014 Labor Day Float

Paul – You nailed it. I was just mad about my own son scoring you higher in the FARSCOTCROLDW. Oh well. As for ramming Alex's kayak, you taught him an important lesson: Rafts always have the right-away over a kayak. That will serve him well when we hit the Ocoee someday and he has to navigate throug...

Need Pyranha Micro 240 Wingnuts (8mm)

My son's Pyranha Micro 240 kayak is missing 3 Wingnuts that secure the bulkhead footrest (I have no idea how they went missing). Anyway, I am looking for a domestic (US) store that I can order these from. I have tried several stores including OOO but they only have 6mm Wingnuts for the modern vintag...
