If I was to come, is there any tent camping available in the area? Too poor to afford a night in a hotel.

As one of the four, I agree! It was a great day to be on the water. Bob made sure we all had time to play (or mostly watch in my case). A great river to paddle with several white-water areas.

Bob, my wife has given me permission, so I'll be there. I don't get on the water very often and I'm hoping this will be the first of many time on the water over the next few months. Floated this once several years ago.

I have a rec boat with gear you can borrow. Saturday I'm hoping I can go to Turner Bend and take the place of someone who doesn't show for one of the kayak classes. Give me a call if you still need the boat. I'm in LR.

Mike, still getting over a total right knee replacement at the end of January. Glad to see you're doing this (again?). Maybe this fall I'll be ready to get on the water again. When I had the left knee replaced in 2003 it took about that long before I was comfortable in my kayak, as best I can rememb...

Turned out to be a great day to be on the water. Nine of us showed up. We got the ski boat, 10 tires and an assortment of other smaller items of trash...

I also hope to join the fun. Not sure that I'll be much help, but I'll do what I can and stay as long as I think the Boss will let me.

Maybe the meeting should be delayed to 8 pm so more can attent the AR State Water Plan at 6:30-8:00 at 4815 W Markham... Just a thought.
