Any of y'all want to run the cheoa next weekend or something comparable? I haven't run it before and I figure if we could get like 4 of us on one car, it would help out with gas. Someone who knows the run would be nice. Just an idea, post up if your interested. Hahns

Re: Weekend floats

It's 6:30 and i'll be headed for the tot in about 30 minutes, it's going to take me about 4 hrs to get there. I have my iPhone so I should be able to check gauges while there. Hopefully I'll see you soon! Oh and sorry Loren, I'm not sure who Spanke is, but I am not him.

Hello everyone, I think canoe school is this weekend?? And I hate to miss out on all the awesome festivities you have planned but I haven't paddled a river in eight months and after this weekend it will most likely be another 8 months. Re: Carnegie Hero Medal

I never met him, but when I went to see B a couple years back, he had passed away on the Payette I think it was two days before I got there. You could still see his boat pinned in the rapid where it happened. He was the king of the north fork and there were ALOT of peole at his memorial service. I a...

Re: A very sad day for our paddleing community!!!

Really sad, I was always excited and looked forward to paddling when I knew Bobby was going to be there. His energy was truly contagious and he will be missed. He really came a long way in his boating in a short time. Heath, I know you guys were good friends, Im here if you need anything buddy. Hahns.

Pyranees, France

Ive been hiking around the Pyranees, close to Spain, the last two weeks and have seen alot of potential for stellar whitewater runs in the spring and as far as I can tell, most of it is completely untapped to whitewter kayaking! I bet there are still lots of first descents left here, that arent ridi...

Re: Beginner Wanting To Purchase Own Gear - Looking For Advice

What RomanLA said about the drytop/farmer john combo is actually the setup I use and it works great!! the only problem I have with it is on multiday trips when it is cold and you dont have access to a dryer, its hard putting that cold gear back on in the morning! But once you get it on you warm back...

Re: Beginner Wanting To Purchase Own Gear - Looking For Advice

I would second spankes comments, Some people bash on the huck now but its a good size for arkansas creeks and personally I ran several class 5- creeks with it and always felt safe and confident in it. Also a good idea with the poly propylene.

Re: Beginner Wanting To Purchase Own Gear - Looking For Advice

Austin it has been my experience with whitewater gear that you get what you pay for, obviously, im sure but the more expensive it is the better it will be. That extrasport top sounds pretty good though and i have bought many things from sierra, they are pretty good. Before you buy clothing without t...

Renee, just a little bit of information about the Rhomboid muscles, there a two, a major and a minor. Specifically, minor is superior to major and originates at the seventh cervical and first thoracic spinous processes. Major originates at the second to fifth thoracic spinous processes. Both of them...

Re: Richland thurs 5/7?

Pam, please let Dr. Dale know that I will not put on the river without him. I have only met you guys a couple of times down there, but if you dont mind, just let him know that he will have someone to paddle with. Thank you, Hahns.
