Thanks for the update on Matt how far down falling water road is he camped? He talked like he was interested in doing Hurricane because he's never done it before also I was going to camp up there and thought I would setup with him if there's room.

Re: looking

The Mulberry sounds like what you are looking for to me. It's a step up from a lazy float trip but has long pools good for fishing. Turner's Bend and Byrd's are the outfitter's there.

Re: Albert Pike gage

parking is available on east side of river at private campground. If there's not a few inches of water coming over the old slab at hwy 84 the upper part will be to low you're better off to do the lower part and take your playboat at that level.

Re: Looking ahead to Saturday.

It very well could be a violation of board rules and besides that I don't work on Fridays so that's the day the good whitewater will be here.

Re: Kyle's landing new parking

I liked the Buffalo better back in the mid 70s when it wasn't regulated by the NPS though it has probably helped the river in the long run to be a national river.

Kayak for sale

MY buddy Dave has a perception full tilt play boat for sale. He lives right outside Benton and could probably bring the boat to rendezvous if anyone is interested. He can be reached at (501) 545-1555.
