I don't live in Virginia anymore. I had fun there on the New but I am in Michigan now. No whitewater here at all.

Dagger RPM w/ lot of goodies, including paddle, wetsuit - NRS and rodeo jacket (only worn 2 times), ProTec ACE Water Helmet, and nose plug. I'm thinking about going to the Mulberry this afternoon but I might not be able to get up there until after 5...looking for people to paddle with. I might just go to hoop and holler but i'm up to suggestions.

A Forest Service law enforcement officer gave us a presentation regarding meth and an alarming number of meth lab dumps have been found in the Jack Cr. area...to be specific: 5 in the last month or so! This is a very alarming number considering the Forest Service only finds around 1 a year or so on ...

I'm all for it! Lets bring down all those suckers...let the rivers be free! I especailly do not like lowhead dams. Float somewhere like Ohio and you'll grow to hate them too. They're everywhere! I suppose they served a purpose when they were built long ago, but what is they're purpose now?

According to NOAA website, it appears that Madison and Newton Cty have recieved between 2 and 3 inches thus far.

You may have a lot of 'fun' getting to your destination with all the down trees, road conditions, and powerlines...and sad looking people. I was heading to norfork last year to do some fishing directly following the big tornados and went through gasville...i have never felt so guilty for fishing aft...
