Unfortunately they are experiencing the worst drought in 60 years ( according to someone that lives up there) the gauge just above Akers is currently .98 ft. I've been to the Porterfield side and the area where the WW Rescue class was taught a couple years back (downstream from the ledge as I recall), can you post or pm me with directions to the ledge boat ramp?
