Re: wtb kevlar 13 or 14 solo canoe

Will need a e-mail address to send Blackhawk canoe photos. It is not a banna boat!! Very little rocker. Easy river or lake boat. Fun to paddle-easy to handle. Very well built. I am listing it for a good friend who has a place on Lake Ouachita. Pad1dle Thanks, Jerry 405 366-6302 for details

Re: canoe repair

West System makes a very good product called G-flex. They also have a repair technical service for product use. Be sure to watch the G-flex destruction demo. Tough stuff! Good luck, Pad1dle

Re: Royalite and d-rings

My suggestions were for damaged or missing vinyl skin. You will need Sta-bond if the inner vinyl skin is damaged. Refer to my other reply.
You could use vynabond if the inner skin is good. Vynabond will not adhere to the inner core. Jerry

Re: Royalite and d-rings

Sta-bond will glue directly to the green core and will stay put. Trace the d-ring outline, cut and remove the loose inner skin. Sand ,clean and follow gluing instructions for the Sta-bond. I use de-natured alcohol to clean before gluing. Vinabond, if applied wet, will melt stuff! I also have had it t...

Re: Want to add longer crossbars to my Matrix

My friend Sandy uses Yakima Hullraisers mounted on the ends of the 48" bars to transport her rec kayak at about a 45 degree slant. She still has room for her canoe or another kayak hauled flat on the remaining bars. Here is a link to Yakima. Jerry http://www.yakima.com/racks/kayak-rack/product/...

Re: Question about NOC

NOC instuction is very professional and worth the $$. Many ACC padlers have been there. You might also check this club school out. I have been to a couple of their classes. One for ww solo canoe and one for ww kayak. Much like the ACC school, except they have dam-release water. http://www.paddletsra...
